Hazel West Photography

Hello, and welcome to our blog! We, Gisele and Kristin, are Texas wedding and portrait photographers based in Houston. After our initial meeting all the way back in kindergarten, we have been inseparable since. We discovered photography together in high school yearbook, and we continued to pursue it throughout college and after, eventually realizing that our onetime hobby had blossomed into a career. We consider it a privilege to capture the moments, events, loved ones, and memories in people’s lives, as we know that the photographs we give you will tell invaluable stories to your family for years to come. From weddings, to babies, to family portraits, and pets, we love what we do - and you can see that in our work!

We are members of Professional Photographers of America, which you can find at www.ppa.com.  We use the highest quality professional equipment, and our style is modern, simple, beautiful, and timeless. The secret to our work is our own practiced blend of photojournalism, art, and a way with people. Contact us today at info@hazelwestphotography.com, and thanks for checking out our site!

Rayla and Andrew – the Wedding!

Here’s a preview of Rayla and Andrew’s wedding at Ashelynn Manor – what a fun night this was! We truly enjoyed photographing such a happy group of people, and it was hard to narrow these down to just a few for the blog post. The wedding party was made up of expert jumpers, as you can see, and Andrew had cleverly given all his groomsmen airsoft guns to provide for pre-wedding activities – as I said, this was a fun-loving bunch! Thanks again to Rayla, Andrew, and your lovely families. Enjoy!

Rayla’s Bridal!

Rayla is a radiant bride with a beautiful smile, and she was so lovely to work with during her bridal session. She braved some chilly temperatures for us – cheerfully, I might add – and the photographs are proof that it was worth it. We are so excited about the wedding coming up in just a few weeks! Rayla, thank you again and we’re looking forward to the wedding!
