Thank you, Hazel West brides and grooms! Gisele and I are already so lucky to be able to spend our days doing what we love, photographing weddings, but we’ve also been blessed with an incredible and kind group of people to photograph. We are thrilled to announce that Hazel West has been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2010 Pick! We’ll soon have the Knot banner on the blog and website. We’ve really enjoyed photographing Ashley and Travis over the past few months – their engagement session was beautiful, and so was Ashley’s bridal session. Their wedding day was no different. The ceremony was held at TCU’s timeless Robert Carr chapel, and all of Ashley’s colors and flowers were festive, rich, and beautiful. The weather was perfect as well! The reception continued at Trinity Terrace, and they had such an original idea for the exit – all of the guests released balloons as they scurried into the limo! Ashley and Travis are such a sweet couple and we were delighted to photograph their day for them – take a look!

I’ve known Pam and Steven since I was young. We attended the same school, Pam and Steven both took piano lessons from my mom, and Pam and I were in ballet together – fluffy tutus, those were the days! I was so delighted when their mom (the sweetest lady in the world) called to book this session. Spending time with Pam reminded me of many well-spent hours in high school, experimenting with beauty trends rather than being in class. Pam and Steven made this so enjoyable, and we had a lot of fun with all the beautiful light at the Menil Collection.  Many thanks to you two and to your absolutely wonderful mother – enjoy!
