Hazel West Photography

Hello, and welcome to our blog! We, Gisele and Kristin, are Texas wedding and portrait photographers based in Houston. After our initial meeting all the way back in kindergarten, we have been inseparable since. We discovered photography together in high school yearbook, and we continued to pursue it throughout college and after, eventually realizing that our onetime hobby had blossomed into a career. We consider it a privilege to capture the moments, events, loved ones, and memories in people’s lives, as we know that the photographs we give you will tell invaluable stories to your family for years to come. From weddings, to babies, to family portraits, and pets, we love what we do - and you can see that in our work!

We are members of Professional Photographers of America, which you can find at www.ppa.com.  We use the highest quality professional equipment, and our style is modern, simple, beautiful, and timeless. The secret to our work is our own practiced blend of photojournalism, art, and a way with people. Contact us today at info@hazelwestphotography.com, and thanks for checking out our site!

Stacy & Kyle

We have been keeping quite busy this holiday season. Here is a little glimpse of  what we have been up to. Before the holidays, we got to have some major fun with this engaged couple on the streets of Fort Worth. We started at the lovely T&P station and then darted in and out of the cold for the rest of the shoot. They were great troopers and really in love. Sometimes we just love our jobs. Here are some of our favorites.

Julie’s Bridal!

On Tuesday we headed over to the Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth to shoot Julie’s bridal portrait, and between the northern light and Julie, who’s stunning, we just couldn’t take a bad shot! We had an enjoyable, relaxed time with Julie and her mom, and the light & architecture in the chapel are the type of thing we portrait-takers dream about. Needless to say, we were pretty excited about Julie’s shoes:). By the time we were done, the weather had gone from mild to blustery and chilly, and I think we were all ready for a cozy night on the sofa after a fabulous portrait’s worth of work. Thanks again, Julie – can’t wait to get the rest of these online for you!
